Firetail Quesadillas


Firetail Flatbread Quesadilla - Golden brown artisan flatbread filled with melted cheese and served with salsa and guacamole | Made with stone-oven baked vegan lavash from Breadmasters

Ingredients

    • Seasoned ground turkey –

    • 1 lb ground turkey

    • 1 red bell pepper, diced

    • 2 TB fiesta seasoning

    • 1 cup water

    • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

    • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

    • Butter, for cooking

    • Pico de Gallo

Instructions

    1. Seasoned ground turkey –

    1. Cook ground turkey over med heat until no longer pink

    1. Stir in bell pepper, fiesta seasoning and water

    1. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes

    1. Set aside

    1. Place flatbread on work surface

    1. Add a layer of cheese

    1. Follow with seasoned ground turkey

    1. Sprinkle on cilantro

    1. Top with cheese

    1. Fold in half

    1. Heat butter in skillet

    1. Place quesadilla in skillet and cook until golden

    1. Flip the quesadilla and cook until crispy

    1. Cut in half and top with pico de Gallo
