- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Spicy Mayo
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup hot sauce (your favorite brand)
For the Wrap
- 2 pieces Breadmasters Markook Thinnest Flatbread
- 6 strips crispy bacon
- 1 cup chopped lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
- 1 large tomato, sliced
Instructions
- Make the guacamole: Peel, pit, and mash the avocados in a medium bowl. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- Make the spicy mayo: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and hot sauce until well combined. Set aside.
- Assemble the wraps: Lay each piece of Markook flatbread on a clean work surface. Spread about ¼ cup of guacamole over each flatbread.
- Layer the fillings: Place 3 strips of crispy bacon on each wrap. Top with chopped lettuce and sliced tomato.
- Add the sauce: Drizzle spicy mayo over the fillings.
- Wrap and serve: Roll the flatbread tightly around the fillings, cut in half, and enjoy immediately.
Tips for Perfect Avocado BLT Wraps
- Choose ripe avocados: Look for avocados that yield slightly to gentle pressure—they’ll mash perfectly and add creamy texture.
- Make it ahead: Prepare the guacamole and spicy mayo up to 2 days in advance. Assemble wraps just before serving to keep the flatbread fresh.
- Customize your heat: Adjust the hot sauce amount to your spice preference. Sriracha, chipotle hot sauce, or Frank’s RedHot all work beautifully.
- Add extra crunch: Include sliced red onion, pickled jalapeños, or crispy fried onions for additional texture.
- Make it a wrap bowl: Skip the flatbread and serve the fillings over mixed greens for a low-carb option.
- Flatbread alternative: If you don’t have Markook, Breadmasters Lavash works perfectly too.
