Ingredients
- Breadmasters Markook Lavash Flatbread
- Cilantro onion relish –
- 1 bunch cilantro (washed, dried and chopped)
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- Juice from half a lime
- Salt to taste
- Fillings –
- 4 cups salsa verde (recipe on my blog)
- 4 cups shredded chicken (recipe on my blog)
- 4 cups shredded jack cheese
- Toppings –
- Pico de Gallo (recipe on my blog)
- Salsa verde crema –
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa verde
- Juice from half a lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cilantro onion relish
- Combine the cilantro, onion, lime juice and salt
- Set aside
- Assembly
- Spread about 1 cup of salsa verde in bottom of 9×13 casserole dish
- Fit a Markook flatbread into the casserole dish perfectly
- Layer 2 cups of chicken on the flat bread
- Sprinkle over cilantro and onion relish
- Add a layer of cheese
- Repeat layers
- Top with Markook flatbread, salsa verde and remaining cheese
- Cover and bake 30 minutes
- Uncover and bake 10-15 min more until cheese is bubbly
- Serve with salsa verde crema and Pico de Gallo
