Muffuletta Pinwheels


Ingredients

  • BreadMasters Ara-Z Lavash Flatbread
  • Giardiniera spread
    • 1 cup drained giardiniera
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Filling
    • 1/4 pound sliced mortadella
    • 1/4 pound sliced salami
    • 1/4 pound sliced provolone
    • 1/4 cup olive tapenade

Instructions

  1. Giardiniera spread
    • Pulse giardiniera in food processor until finely chopped
    • Add the mayonnaise and stir to combine
  2. Assembly
    • Line the counter top with a piece of plastic wrap
    • Place a flat bread on top of the plastic wrap
    • Spread the giardinera mixture over the flat bread
    • Layer the mortadella, salami and provolone slices on the bottom half of the flat bread
    • Spread the tapenade over the cheese
    • Roll the flat bread, tightly, starting at the bottom with the fillings
    • Tighten the plastic wrap around the roll and twirl the ends to make a very tight roll
    • Refrigerate at least 2 hours
    • Unwrap the log and slice into 3/4-inch pieces
