These strawberry French toast pinwheels taste like strawberry shortcake! Make some this weekend for Sunday brunch!
I soaked BreadMasters stone lavash in eggs and milk and fried them up in butter…flatbread french toast!
But I didn’t stop there…after topping them with strawberries and jam, I rolled them up and sliced them into pinwheels to make them easy to shove into my mouth!
These bite sized beauties were topped with whipped cream and tasted heavenly!

Ingredients
- Pinwheels
- 4 eggs 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- BreadMasters stone lavash
- Butter 1 cup strawberry jam
- 1 lb strawberries sliced
- Whipped Cream
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Pinwheels
- Mix together the eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla
- Cut 4 pieces of lavash in half, and place a piece in the egg mixture
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat
- Fry the lavash 1-2 minutes per side until golden
- Repeat with remaining lavash
- Spread strawberry jam over flatbread french toast
- Top with sliced strawberries Roll up and slice into pinwheels
- Whipped Cream
- Beat together the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form
- Top pinwheels with whipped cream
